LIBA Lawn – Before and after installation of 70 W Solar LEDs.(Earlier 250 W Sodium Vapor Lamps)
The Lawn at LIBA, Loyola College now sports a new look, with installation of two new Solar based 70 W LED Lights.
The lawn earlier was powered by two numbers of 250 W Sodium Vapor lamp, which consumes almost Rs. 13, 140.00 per year, worth of electricity.
With raising power outages, it has urged the energy conscious people / societies to go for alternate energy.
One such initiative was the installation of Solar LEDs at LIBA lawn, which would eventually replace the two numbers of 250 W Sodium Vapor lamps, which produces more heat besides consuming lot of power.
